In the 1960s, English sailor Henri Strzelecki harnessed the potential of new water-repellent and waterproof materials to revolutionize sailing apparel, leading the industry’s technical innovation for forty years. Henri Lloyd offers two main lines: Atm (Advanced Marina Technology) for sailing and offshore, and a Fashion line for men, women, and children, featuring casual wear. Over the years, Henri Lloyd has equipped major expeditions, such as Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ Transglobe Expedition in the ’70s, and the Stars and Stripes crew for the 1987 America Cup, winning the Queens Export Award. In 2009, it became the official clothing and footwear supplier for Brawn GP and sponsored athletes like Sir Ben Ainslie and Shirley Robertson. Since 2002, it has provided technical apparel for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, and in 2017 for Land Rover BAR, with kits developed in collaboration with the team. In 2017, Henri Lloyd signed a 3-year sponsorship deal with the FAST40+ class, providing custom sailing kits and a perpetual trophy.
